I have just finished reading the book you had lent me: The Seventh Million: The Israelis and the Holocaust by Tom Segev. I am glad that I had read it; I wish everyone would read it too.
It has been a while since I last wrote to you. What I had read; what I had learnt makes me now want to talk, the way we used to, over a kosher-halal meal at The Main. Pulling no punches: two friends thinking aloud in front of each other, letting the chips fly and fall wherever they may; letting the tongue steal what is hidden deep in our hearts full fathom five; what is harboured deep full fathom five in our Moslem-Jewish hearts. Moslem and Jew sharing ideas, poetry, blintzes in peaceful Montreal far from Jew-Moslem madness.
It was an honour for me to accompany you to the synagogue and help you bury and mourn your dad and sit Shiva with you. This would not be possible where I come from, let alone, you, a Jew, helping me bury and mourn my dad in Saudi-Somali Islam which ran me out of Mogadishu five times at gunpoint. They wouldn’t even let me bury and mourn my own dad in peace, in Somalia, which is a proud member of the Moslem League and the Arab League to boot.
Poor Somalia, so far from Allah, so close to the asinine Arabs & Arabia whose sicko version of Islam subverted our Sufi Somali Islam.
Now I understand why my mother used to warn me, my son, beware of the Arab: he will denounce you falsely; he will accuse you falsely and he will hie to the Prophet before you can even put on your sandals! Now I understand why our National poet, the Sa-yid, sang, “My son do not lament for I have always known that Arabs are cowering cowards!” No wonder now here in Canada a Somali would trust a Jew before he would trust an Arab.
As you know my first wife’s name is Rachel Garber. When Rachel and I were living in Mogadishu and teaching at Lafole College of Education, near Afgoye, in 1971, we begged Rachel’s parents not to send us letters or post cards from Israel.
Sure enough, they had sent us letters and post cards from all over Israel!

Or as Moshe Ya'alon, the Israeli army Chief of Staff, famously farted: “The Palestinians must be made to understand in the deepest recesses of their consciousness that they are a defeated people.”[11]
Jews don't want peace with Arabs and Moslems; peace is your enemy. The moment you have peace in Israel, you will discover the awful truth that the worst enemy of a Jew is another Jew.
Furthermore now the Devil and his demons are out to convince the world that Jews themselves jumpstarted and hatched the Holocaust; now your relentless enemies are peddling the contemptible contention that the holocaust itself was hatched and jumpstarted by Jews themselves and it is now gaining ground and credibility with a lot of folks---Jews & Gentiles[12].
The very moment you decide to make peace with your Arab & Moslem enemy, you will begin to slaughter each other mercilessly! As we Somalis say, every tree shelters enough fuel for fire under its own very shade to burn it all up! Look! We senseless Somalis made peace with our neighbours, with our traditional enemies, the Amharas of Ethiopia and the Kikuyus of Kenya. And now, we have endless civil war in Somalia that makes any clear center of power impossible. Now there are freewheeling jihadist groups and we Somalis have become connoisseurs of confusion and chaos. The moment we had made peace with our enemy, we began to kill each other and now nobody knows how to put back together that Humpty Dumpty that once was a proud pastoral, democratic, Hamitic, anti-Semitic nation-state you Jews championed and lobbied in the UN for its 1960 independence.
Where is our country? Where is our Somali nation-state? Where is Somalia? It has disappeared from the face of the Earth. You Jews don't want to make Israel disappear like we silly Somalis had made Somalia disappear. You need us Moslem wogs and nig-nogs as your immortal enemies for the raison d'être of Israel. You will do everything in your power to prevent peace in the Middle East because the moment you make genuine peace with us Arabs and Moslems, the moment you cease being surrounded by implacable blood-thirsty Moslem enemy fanatics, the Sephardi will start slaughtering the Ashkenazi; the Russian Jews will start slaughtering the Yemeni Jews; the Somali Jews will start slaughtering the Falasha from Ethiopia; the Iranian Jews will start killing the Iraqi Jews; the Yahweh-crazy Jewish Fanatic fundamentalists will start killing the Godless Jews like you. That is why you will make damn sure that you have perpetual war with us Arabs and Moslems so you won't disappear, so you won't be like us silly Somalis who had made peace with their enemies. You need us Moslems and Arabs as your implacable enemies so Israel can survive and thrive. You will make sure that you thwart and frustrate and nip in the bud and resist every peace initiative Uncle Sam and the world try to wheedle you into or foist upon you. Why do you think Obama is now the most hated American President in Israel? Because you fear that President Obama is serious about ending Israel's illegal occupation of the West Bank and Gaza whereas his predecessors just made empty noises about peace, save that Southern Baptist, that Jesus freak, according to you Jews, Jimmy Carter, whom you Jews believe is now trying to turn Obama against you Jews.
As Edward Said has said, “We are in for many more years of turmoil and misery in the Middle East, where one of the main problems is, to put it as plainly as possible, American power. What America refuses to see clearly, it can hardly hope to remedy.”[13]
Obama wants to put to an end to this willful American blindness and thus end this sad saga but he can't; you Jews will make sure that he goes along with you so you can give him what his heart desires: four more years in the White House!
With shock and awe and disbelief, the whole world watches and witnesses how pitiful, how powerless, a giant America is vis-à-vis the most powerful lobby in Washington, D.C.: AIPAC: American Israel Public Affairs Committee!
The American prez rules at best for eight years; your Jewish AIPAC reigns forever! There was a time when it wasn't so: Remember how in the 1956 Suez Canal War, Eisenhower, a Mennonite like me, ordered you and your British and French allies out of Egypt. By the way, you Jews have miserably failed lately in your attempt of mau-mauing the Mennonites and accusing them of mainstreaming Jew-baiters and Jew-haters and Holocaust-deniers like Ahmadinejad. Imagine, one unelected Jew, Bernard Lewis of Princeton University, ordered the mighty army of the USA to invade Iraq on behalf of you Jews, mindless of the blowback: Now Iran and their Shiites dominate the whole Middle East! Now “George W. Bush has put the United States on the side of undemocratic Iraqis who are Iran's allies…. It is hard to understand how this can be called a success—or a path to victory.” [16]
As we Somalis say, “If you dig a hole for your enemy, don't make it too deep, lest you fall into it!” You Jews now have fallen into the hole you dug for your Arab and Moslem enemies and you don't know how to dig yourselves out of it. I assure you, neither you Jews nor us Moslems, will get anywhere by war-warring: As we Somalis say, it is peace, not war, that births lads and lasses, not wars!

There is a perfectly good example of one in the Middle East and not so far from Iraq. This is a country that regularly invades neighbouring states, defies UN Security Council Resolutions, occupies territories that it was not legally permitted to steal, treats the inhabitants of these territories as if they were Untermensch and possess an arsenal of nuclear and chemical weapons. Israel, however, is the great untouchable of American politics. After 11 Sept, both Congress and the Senate passed resolutions giving the Israeli regime a blank check approving all its future actions in advance, a prize never awarded to their own presidents. The result of all this is a tame US media which barely reports the daily sufferings of the Palestinians. There is more critical coverage of Israeli actions in the Israeli press than in the United States.”[38] And Zionist ‘sanctimonious ice-box’ cowardly Canada is hardly worth a mention.
“In June 1948 a British official, blaming the United States for the creation of Israel, described the new nation as a ‘gangster state’. Over sixty years later the Oxford historian Avi Shlaim writes: ‘I used to think that this judgment was too harsh, but Israel’s vicious assault on the people of Gaza, and the Bush Administration’s complicity in this assault, have reopened the question.” [39]

The fact that most Israelis today will not be mourning him merely illustrates and compounds their loss—and ours.” [41]
Pat Buchanan was wrong: It is not only Capitol Hill that is “Israeli occupied territory.”[42] The entire USA is Israeli-occupied territory that embraces gladly “the Israelization of American foreign policy” [43]; the whole West is indeed Israeli occupied territory. That is why the West on your behalf is at war with every Moslem including me. Every Moslem is an enemy, is guilty, until he proves himself innocent. For after all, you Jews have convinced everybody in the West to believe that “A Moslem is a tyrant at home, a terrorist abroad and a bigot in both!” [44]
America has proffered us all Moslems a Hobson’s choice: “Either you are with us or you are with the terrorists.”[45] Either you are with Tweedledee or you are with Tweedledum; either you are with Osama or you are with Obama! What is the difference? Both kill innocent men and women and children and call them “collateral damage.”
Well, my fellow Moslems and I don’t want to be with America which is a terrorist nation; which is what MLK called “the greatest purveyor of violence [read terror] in the world today —my own government.”[46]
I don’t want to be with Terrorist America because when I said to America, “Let me share a secret with you; let me teach you and help you and show you how to win Moslem minds and hearts: America shushed me, America shunned me, America shut me up with “When we've got them Moslems by the balls, their hearts and minds will follow.” [47]
That is why Will Rogers said, “If we ever pass out as a great nation we ought to put on our tombstone, ‘America died of the delusion that she had moral leadership.’” [48] That is why there will be more soldiers of Allah; more Major Nidal Malik Hassans! That is why no Moslem in his right mind including this one will ever rat on Osama and collect the $50 million bounty on his head despite what Malcolm X had said about the almighty dollar and the devilish American checkbook diplomacy: “This country can seduce God. Yes, it has that seductive power—the power of dollarism.”[49]
Now “going Moslem”[50] means going postal like Major Nidal Malik Hassan ‘done gone Moslem’ and slaughtered 12 of his own fellow soldiers and wounded 31 at Fort Hood, Texas. Give a dog a bad name and then hang him; well, all of us Moslem dogs, all of us Moslem wogs, around the world are goners now!
No American can aspire to move into the White House without first barking about how much they love you Jews, about how much they love Israel like Hillary did when she barked at Iran: “I want the Iranians to know that if I'm the president, we will attack Iran” [if it attacked Israel], Clinton said. “In the next 10 years, during which they might foolishly consider launching an attack on Israel, we would be able to totally obliterate them.”[51] For thus says the LORD of hosts. . . he that touches [Israel] touches the apple of [my] eye[52].
That was more than enough to make you Jews forget and almost forgive an embarrassing political episode from Hillary Clinton’s past: the controversial hug and kiss she shared with Yasser Arafat’s wife, Suha, during a trip to the West Bank.
That is why Moslems hate America more than they hate Jews and Israel: the Jew is the ventriloquist, America is the dummy. “Al-Masri al-Yaum, Egypt’s most independent newspaper, ran an opinion piece declaring, ‘America, we hate you.’” [53]

You are not only our neighbors: In many cases —mine, for instance— you are also our blood relations, our colleagues, and our personal friends. Mr. Netanyahu, tear down this wall!” Mr. Netanyahu, “Something there is that doesn't love a wall, / That wants it down.”[73] “Mr. Netanyahu, if you are truly a Jew, listen to this most basic teaching of your professed religion, Judaism: “That which is hateful to you, do not do to your neighbor. That is the whole Torah; the rest is commentary. Go and study it.”[74]

Jimmy Carter gave the first copy of his new book, We Can Have Peace in the Holy Land: A Plan That Will Work, to Obama to no avail. If you Jews were geniuses, as you all are purported to be, you’d make peace with your killing cousins and neighbours right now! Why? Because you Zionists have already lost big time, but you can't believe it. You lost the moment the Israelis sang a song of David, but the world heard the blustering bullying bellowing bushwa[75] song of Goliath.

Bye-bye to the idea that is always to make the world feel sympathy for Israel, the plucky little country standing up to dangerous Moslem fanatical foes. Bye-bye to the propaganda that Israel was always plucky, that Israel was always sacred, that Israel was always good. Bye-bye to Leon Uris and his novel, Exodus. Bye-bye to the all-American sex symbol, blue-eyed all-American Paul Newman who, in his 1960 epic war film, portrayed the braves of Zion winning against all odds! Bye-bye to all of your expert hermeneutics of hatred against Arabs and Moslems. Bye-bye to all that crap! Bye-bye to all that dreadful demontry[77].
The moment you Jews have lost the propaganda hasbarah war, you should have packed it all in. Because if you have lost the propaganda war, you have lost it all! You, my friend, have lost because of what Camara Laye calls Haké: What has caused Israel to lose is haké, that is, the injustices and humiliations you Jews afflict daily, hourly, on us Arabs and Moslems in front of the whole world. Thanks to Aljazeera TV that your ally, Dubya, tried to destroy: Take a look at “Bush's reported remark to Blair in a Washington meeting 18 months ago, that he would like to bomb or otherwise incinerate the worldwide Arab television network Al Jazeera, for its effrontery in broadcasting news reflecting poorly on the USA. The only consolation, the Mirror reported, was that Blair managed to talk him out of it!”[78]
But you Jews are still in denial. You say, fuck what Ben-Gurion, your Israeli George Washington, your very own founding father of Israel said about the Arab occupied territories after the Six-Day war: “If I have to choose between a small Israel, without territories, but with peace, and a greater Israel without peace, I prefer a small Israel.”[79] “By holding on to the occupied territories, Israel is moving away from the Zionist vision and has indeed been pursing a self-destructive policy. Instead of a Jewish and democratic state, it is rapidly turning itself into a binational state in which the Arabs occupy an inferior position.” [80]
“Israel’s real aim is not peaceful coexistence with its Palestinian neighbours but military domination.” [81]
“You could say [you] had forgotten what the Knesset knew in 1949. [You] could have a larger state, or a Jewish state. Now, [you] were trying to have both. When you got down to it, there were only three choices— none looked easy or appetizing. I. F. They do not exist. That came as something of a surprise to the world's 4.5 million Palestinians.”[86]
Edward Said educated her and the forgetful world with this startling reminder: “Until 1948, Jews held only about 7 percent of the land.”[87] “Violence, hatred, and intolerance are bred out of injustice, poverty, and a thwarted sense of political fulfillment. Last fall, hundreds of acres of Palestinian land were expropriated by the Israeli Army from the village of Umm al-Fahm, which isn't on the West Bank but inside Israel. This drove home the fact that, even as Israeli citizens, Palestinians are treated as inferior, as basically a sort of underclass existing in a condition of apartheid.”[88] Golda and “The Israelis contend that the Palestinians already have a homeland— in Jordan.”[89]
What Einstein feared in 1938 is now a reality. He said, “I should much rather see reasonable agreement with the Arabs on the basis of living together in peace than the creation of a Jewish state. Apart from practical consideration, my awareness of the essential nature of Judaism resists the idea of a Jewish state with borders, an army, and a measure of temporal power no matter how modest. I am afraid of the inner damage Judaism will sustain— especially from the development of a narrow nationalism within our own ranks, against which we have already had to fight strongly, even without a Jewish state.”[90]

As we Arabs and Moslems say, it is maktub: it is written; Holy Scripture has to be fulfilled. We can't stop Jesus, Yesu, Issa, and the Messiah from coming back. We don't want to thwart Yahweh: Don't forget that all Moslems, all Jews, all Christians are awaiting the Messiah, but his coming back exacts a terrible bloody unimaginable price—that price is Armageddon. If you make peace with the Arabs and Moslems, you will disappoint powerful American fundamentalists who “are allied with Jewish religious fanatics who dream of destroying the al-Aqsa Mosque in order to build a third temple on the Temple Mount.”[98]
According to this pestilential “premillennial dispensationalism” which is a vision of history devoutly espoused by the same powerful American Christian Zionist fundamentalist nutty right wingers in which the state of Israel will be destroyed in the last battle of Armageddon in which ‘an apostate Jew’ will lead “an international confederation and Jesus will physically return to earth in order to defeat the Antichrist. At that point, the Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount (where al-Aksa mosque stands today) will be restored, along with the throne of King David. Most Jews will be killed, but 144, 000 Jews will convert to Christianity.” [99]
Israel just loves to pander to this crazy American Christian eschatological delusion that may yet turn out to be a self-willed and a self-fulfilled prophesy. It is that elementary. You Jews don't want to be party poopers; you can't disappoint the whole world that is out there praying for Armageddon: the showstopper, the show of all shows, the show to end all shows; the mother of all shows; the last showdown of Evil versus Good in which Jooj &wa Ma'jooj[100] will feature; that blockbuster of all blockbusters won’t happen if you make peace with the Arabs and Moslems. You Jews can’t stop the last show, the most anticipated show in the world; but many of my Jewish friends including you and Richler stopped one thing: you gave back your tickets to the front row seat and moved back to Canada far from the jinni’s of the Jerusalem syndrome[101].

Look at what you had done to that Jew from South Africa, Richard Goldstone and his even-handed UN report on the Gaza War that finds both Israel and Hamas guilty of perpetrating war crimes: You just labeled him a self-hating Jew and that put the kibosh on him and on his damning damn report.
“For the time being, a truce, or hudna, that involves a Palestinian state within the 1967 borders is the most that can be done.” [106] Which of course you won't do: Israel would rather see itself destroyed along with the whole world rather than compromise and put an end to the Jewish variety of Apartheid that is now rife there, that is now busy building Bantustans[107] for Palestinians.
‘‘Today, in effect, a single state [Israel] reaches from the Mediterranean to the Jordan River, in which Palestinians are imprisoned in Gaza, occupied in the West Bank, or discriminated against [read Apartheid] in Israel.” [108]
So, who is gonna bell the Jewish cat called, Israel? Not even God Almighty can bell the Jewish cat called Israel. You Jews put Yahweh on trial for baking your horrendous but ever so convenient, ever so profitable, ever so the-gift-that-keeps-on-giving, your own ace in the hole, the dead six million Jews who can't talk back to you. As we cynical Somalis say, corpses are to be managed, to be manipulated, and to be exploited any way one sees fit! As Mordecai Richler observed, “The innocent dead are brandished as counters for securing favourable loans or trade deals. The six million are invoked as equity.” [109] After all, as we cynical Somalis say so aptly, the shoes of a dead person are better than they are!
Needless to say, you found Yahweh guilty of murdering the six million in cold blood: Not only have you have found him guilty, you told him to go and choose someone else as the apple of his eye; you are bored with him and say with frozen finality, “To believe in God after Auschwitz is an insult to intelligence…”[110]

Without Yahweh, how could you have gone from being human garbage, from being worse than niggers, worse than Shvartzer to now being quality folks. Let us now hear the conclusion of the whole matter: If I had to choose between betraying those mad mendacious Moslems who claim to belong to the same household of faith as I do and betraying you, my friend Farkas, I hope I should have the guts to betray them unhappy hypocrites who like “Libya’s Kadafi, a solder of limited mental capacity evokes the name of God to boast about the killing of Libyan dissidents, one wonders if he ever read the Koranic verse (VII, 199) that says, ‘Keep to forgiveness (O Mohammed), and enjoin kindness, and turn away from the ignorant.”[117] “There are no two things more important to us in life and art as being threatened and being saved.” [118]
I don’t know whether we meshuga Moslems can be saved from the self-destructive hate we harbour in our hearts against Jews. I don’t know whether you Jews can be saved from your self-destructive arrogant triumphalism fueled by Hawkish Hubris that deceives you Jews into thinking that you will always have the upper hand, that you will always be able to hurt and humiliate us Moslems, that we will always play Indians to your cowboys.

The wrath of ill-mannered Islam fell upon my baldpate; I wonder what they can do now for an encore in Canada where saying your say is the most sacred right of every citizen.
